Today’s women live different lives than our ancestors. We work, we build soaring careers, and we lend our voice to society. We shape its future with more power than any generation of women from before. Many people deserve our gratitude, like the brilliant women who forged new futures by pushing social convention. They pushed beyond many things. What society expected of them, what they were trained for, and even what they were allowed to dream of.
The lives of the women of 2025 is indeed a far cry from our mothers and grandmothers. Yet, there is more progress to be made. Around the world, women continue to work towards new norms. Part of how they challenge preexisting sentiments is by thriving in male dominated spaces.
The LUBM Women
At LUBM, the single biggest group of learners we support are women. We’re proud to be the stepping stone upon which so many bright minds make their mark. Through our online business degrees, we empower women to break barriers in business.
Our graduates thrive in growing industries like healthcare, project management, finance, HR and quality management. But, we believe in offering more than just the course to our learners. That is why we bolster their education through seminars. We wanted to host this seminar to expose our students to the incredible women making waves in the UAE.
Unstoppable Together: The Women Leading Change Seminar
The LUBM Women’s Day seminar will be a panel discussion, featuring some of the brightest minds in regional industries. Our distinguished panelists will cover the topic: Dare to Be Different – Encouraging Unconventional Choices. They will discuss and share their unique journeys.Â
Thus, they will explore how unconventional choices have redefined their own paths, and also the industries they work in. The discussion will see them delve into topics such as overcoming societal expectations. It will also cover how they as women carved out new niches in male dominated spaces. Further, they will adress the transformative power of daring to be different.Â
As an attendee, this will be an opportunity to learn firsthand how bold choices can lead to extraordinary success. Hopefully, it will spark conversations and connections that challenge the status quo. Besides, we believe it will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to mingle and network with these distinguished women. Further, they can also connect with LUBM staff, alumni and learners, and build a strong, diverse professional network.
