Course Overview
Through its partnership with the esteemed, UK based awarding body OTHM, LUBM offers its Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management as an online course. The UK diploma is equivalent to a master’s degree on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). However, graduates need to complete the dissertation stage with a university to achieve a full master's degree. This is a valuable credential to have in the UAE, where the healthcare industry is rapidly growing to become the regional healthcare hub.
The program imparts a diverse range of skills and competencies to its students through six mandatory units. It delivers robust knowledge to students interested in becoming effective managers in the regional healthcare industry. Learners will be taught to convert fundamental topics needed to manage business projects, with a focus on policy, management theory and practice in health and social care. The curriculum focuses on imparting transformative leadership, effective performance, planning and accountability, development and team leadership to students, among other things.
Ideally, students earn this diploma with the aim of getting a role in an organisation in the private or public sector. Further, graduates can switch to a master’s degree at a UK University by completing the final dissertation.
