This year, TEDxLUBM takes the stage on October 25th. And we are proud to reveal that TEDxLUBM 2025’s theme is: CTRL + R: Because Restarting is a Mindset.

In the digital world, CTRL + R refreshes your screen. In life, restarting does the same. It requires incredible confidence in yourself to start over, be it in your career, personal relationships or education. Because at its core, beginning again means that you have redefined what’s possible for yourself.
We live in an age where change is no longer an exception. Now, it’s the rule. Careers shift, and industries evolve based on sweeping technological changes. Already, new technology is forcing us to reevaluate to adapt and keep pace. It has impacted how we live, work and play. But what if we stopped fearing change and embraced it? What if restarts aren’t disruptions, but opportunities for reinvention?
As seasoned educators who forge leaders, that’s the mindset TEDxLUBM is championing. TEDxLUBM will highlight how a reset isn’t about going back. Rather, it’s about moving forward with renewed clarity.

As with every TEDx event, TEDxLUBM is about ideas worth spreading. And so, the event will feature stories of personal reinvention, business transformation, and other stories of restarting. And on October 25th, the brave, the daring, and the innovative will bring them to life. The speaker lineup brings together voices from across industries and experiences, each with a story of a life reimagined. On October 25th, from 4 to 8 pm, TEDxLUBM promises to be more than an event. It will be a space where people press restart together.
