MBA Final Stage (Top up)
Here you will undertake a major project that focuses on your understanding and execution of entrepreneurial management in an area of specific interest to your or your organisation, such as:
- (1) An applied or engaged research project
- (2) An enterprise consultancy project
- (3) Taking a new business proposition through to proof of concept
This is a 15,000 words dissertation.
Course content will be delivered via the Anglia Learning Management System. You will be full
supported by specialist tutors and distance learning facilitators. Students will have access to ARU’s
extensive digital library, along with a range of specialist videos, reports, articles and support services.
The MBA Top-Up programme consists of 3 modules with a total value of 60 credits. Summative
assessment includes assignments and research projects. Tutors will provide feedback and feed
- (1) A degree from a UK university, normally at a minimum of lower second class honours; or equivalent
from a non-UK university.
- (2) Or an equivalent professional qualification.
- (3) Or work experience at an appropriate and relevant level or an MBA course.

Anglia Ruskin University began as the Cambridge School of Art founded by William Beaumont. It was then merged with the Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology and the Essex Institute of Higher Education and was renamed Anglia Polytechnic. It was then given university status in 1992 and renamed Anglia Ruskin University in 2005.
