Some minds are drawn to numbers, and a select few can read them like a story. Dr Aakash Ramchand Dil belongs to the latter category. He is a financial strategist, risk expert, and mathematical thinker who has built a career on making sense of complexity. In his roster of success, he has numerous skills. These range from managing market risk to authoring books that simplify financial concepts for students. Overall, his journey is a testament to intellectual ambition and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.  

Now he works at the National Bank of Fujairah but stays active in the intellectual space. Recently, his paper on predictive analysis helped somebody create a use case. This saw him nominated cross industry for an award recognized as the ‘Oscar of the banking industry’ for excellence in the domain. The Middle East Banking AI & Analytics Summit is a new pinnacle of success for this already accomplished professional. His groundbreaking work in predictive analysis has found real world application. Thus, his status as a thought leader in the field has been reinforced.

Making Risk Management Accessible

Dr Aakash’s passion for risk analytics shows up beyond his workplace. This year saw him publish a book in response to the growing need for accessible information on risk management. Titled ‘Developing and Understanding The Concepts of Risk Management for Freshers’, the book is available on kindle. It serves as a bridge for newcomers trying to navigate the intricate world of risk management. He is exceptionally attuned to math and has a special genius for it. 

But perhaps the most noteworthy part of it is Dr Aakash’s love of math. In true scholarly appreciation, he becomes poetic when he describes it. He views math as a language unto itself and believes that he can ‘read’ it, much like the common man reads a book. Through the publication, he endeavours to convert that language into English and give laypeople the ability to comprehend and ‘read’ math as he can. He aims to make its complexities accessible, breaking down high level financial concepts into simple, understandable terms.

Among his many academic credentials, one stands out. An MBA from York St. John University played a strong role in shaping Dr Aakash’s expertise. With a demanding career in banking, the flexibility of an online degree was crucial. It allowed him to pursue advanced education without compromising professional commitments.
