This UK level 7 diploma delivers both the theoretical and practical sides. Therefore, it can be regarding any project, portfolio, and programme management irrespective of their complexities. Qualification Structure
- This UK diploma in Project Management has 5 mandatory units
- Together, these units sum up to 120 UK credits
- Total Qualification Time (TQT) and Guided Learning Hours (GLH) are 1200 hours and 480 respectively
- Planning, Controlling and Leading a Project (30 credits)
- Procurement Risk and Contract Management (30 credits)
- Advanced Project and Logistics Management (20 credits)
- Operations and Information Management for Project Managers (20 credits)
- Advanced Research Methods (20 credits)
Learning Outcome
- Firstly, knowledge of the primary and secondary principles of project management with respect to business
- Secondly, the ability to construct functional plans and systems for the implementation and management of various projects
- Thirdly, understand the principle concepts of contract management and procurement
- Fourthly, the expertise is necessary to assess the effectiveness of a project management team’s level of communication
- Fifthly, understand the procedures of closing and reviewing a completed project
- Sixthly, ability to accurately evaluate and ensure proper risk management process in contracts and procurement management
Entry Requirements
Learners must meet the following requirements to gain entry into the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management:
- An honours degree in a related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course
