The York St John MBA aims to recruit a diverse range of students who share a passion for Business Management. As a student on this programme, you will be studying alongside others who wish to move into or further develop their careers in Business Management, from both the EU/UK and other countries around the world. The programme will allow you to reflect on your already acquired knowledge and experience of the world of work, putting theory into practice in a continuing professional development environment.

This programme is intended to develop your ability to understand the philosophies, principles and practices of continuing personal and professional development (CPPD) and lifelong learning, and is linked to your prior Masters-level experience and subsequent professional experience post-graduation. Through the supported learning materials, you will critically analyse and consider how you manage personal and social learning for professional development. You will be challenged to understand your own ways of thinking and learning and how this continues to develop from the MBA Conversion to inform current and future professional development. Through the learning and assessment strategy, you are encouraged to develop Page 2 of 4 knowledge and skills to take ownership and responsibility for personal development that will enhance your leadership awareness and skills.
